This ww2dodge Wiki is about all trucks produced by the Dodge corporation for the army during World War II. Although it never gained the Jeep's popularity the Dodge was a true workhorse of the army with a lot of different roles. From ambulance, command-car, pick-up, staff-car to emergency repair. Or in other words: "The jeep got the press, while the Dodge did the heavy lifting."
